THE COURSE
The Course is divided into two main parts, a theoretical part, and a practical part. The theoretical part can be taken as a separate course in an online-only format. The practical part can only be taken if the student attended the theoretical part.

The theoretical part is held fully online and includes multiple checkpoints and quizzes. The online lectures are further divided into multiple chapters covering the topics. Each lecture is centered around one aspect of the human body and its pathologies.

The
practical part is meant to train patient interaction and practical skills such as bleeding control, airway maneuvers and other procedures necessary to manage a trauma casualty.
Here students will apply the knowledge learned during the lectures in practical scenarios and skill stations.

THE EXAM

The theoretical part of the course ends with an online exam that is comprised of single-choice questions. The questions include decision-making tasks as well as tests on medical knowledge discussed during the course.

The practical part of the course ends with a final exam that comprises patient handling skills and knowledge of medical procedures in the AGFR scope of practice.

Students that pass both exams receive the AGFR passing certificate.
